The Hope Assistance Foundation envisions the Hope School as a catalyst for change—providing free education to children in the rural district of Kayonza, Rwanda. Designed to serve both students and the wider community, the school is intended to become a beacon of opportunity and progress in the region. We were invited by the NGO Journeyman International to join the project as volunteer architects, taking on the role of project lead ahead of our journey to this remarkable corner of East Africa.
